We repeatedly intervened on the subject, trying to sensitize the institutions to a dutiful action defending the interests of the regional community. We're not going to repeat here the many arguments for reasons already expressed our opposition. But we want to highlight how the gigantic building designed to be far from responding to the interests and the needs of short and medium term the community, and is fully functional to the expansionist ambitions of SNAM.
On one hand, existing facilities and already operating in the country have the capacity to provide about 110 billion cubic meters of gas, compared with a requirement that does not exceed 85 billion cubic meters. The summary? Umbria should suffer irreparable harm to its own territory and its economy, not the national interest, but to enrich Snam. Although the construction of the pipeline was considered a range of strategic value for the long term, it is clear that this value lies in acquiring work and do not choose the path where you place it. Those currently identified only responds to the economic interests of Snam. E 'tolerate all this?
Regional Council - in all its components, with the notable exception of the extreme Left - intend to continue to stand by and watch the massacre in which you want to commit?
